Job summary

ARC Group is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver for a leading logistics operation based in Tamworth. You will work a Monday–Friday pattern delivering palletised goods with occasional sixth shifts and immediate start.

Role includes completing delivery paperwork, vehicle checks, and ensuring safe, on-time deliveries. Valid Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card required; up to 6 penalty points accepted.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Must have Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• Comfortable with some manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised goods to customers.
• Complete delivery paperwork and vehicle checks.
• Ensure deliveries are made safely, on time and professionally.
• Carry out collections from alternative sites when required.
• Undertake other ad hoc transport duties as required by the business.
• Occasionally work a sixth shift depending on workload.

Class 1 Driver Required - Immediate Start Available

We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver for a leading logistics operation based in Tamworth.

The Role

• Monday to Friday shift pattern


• Deliveries consist of palletised goods.


• two hour allowance for tipping


• Complete all relevant delivery paperwork and vehicle checks.


• Ensure all deliveries are made safely, professionally, and on time.


• Complete collections from alternative sites


• Undertake other ad hoc transport duties as required by the business.


• Work an additional sixth shift on occasion, depending on workload and operational requirements.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.


• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.


• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience preferred.


• Maximum of 6 penalty points.


• No DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.


• Comfortable carrying out some manual handling duties.


• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.


• Flexible approach to duties and routes when required.
