Culina Transport is recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join our Cumbria operation. You will collect loaded trailers from customer sites and deliver to warehouses across Cumbria, with a focus on safety, customer service and dependable delivery standards.

The role is full-time with a fixed shift pattern Fri-Mon 05:00–07:00. Pay rates range from £14.60 to £18.41 per hour depending on shift, plus a £5 per shift meal allowance.

Qualificações

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• A professional and safety-focused approach.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Collection of loaded trailers and delivery to Warehouse, requirement to tip and drop trailers.
• Trailers are pre-loaded at customer sites.
• Collection from docks for delivery to customer sites.
• Completing all necessary vehicle checks and documentation.
• Maintaining high levels of safety, compliance, and professionalism.
• Working closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to Driver's hours, WTD, and tachograph legislation.

Job Description

We are recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join supporting our operation in the Cumbria area, supporting collecting loaded trailers from a customer site and delivering to warehouses around Cumbria area. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards.

The roles are full time, working on a permanent basis, Shift Pattern for this role is as below:

• Friday to Monday Days 05:00-07:00

Pay Rates:

We have increased our pay rates, with rates now ranging from £14.60 to £18.41 per hour, depending on shift - giving you even more reason to build your driving career with us.

• Mon-Fri Days - £14.60 per hour
• Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £17.60 per hour
• Bank Holidays - £18.41 per hour.

On top of base salary our HGV Drivers will be entitled to £5 per shift tax-free meal allowance
