Job summary

CTRG Limited in Peterborough is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join our trunking and fridge operations. You will run chilled and frozen goods across shifts, with start times from early morning or early evening, and must be able to handball and manually unload where required.

Applicants should have a minimum of 12 months Class 1 driving experience, a valid UK C+E licence, DCPC card and digital tachograph, and a good understanding of drivers’ hours rules.

• 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience
• Valid UK C+E (Class 1) Licence
• DCPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph
• Understanding of Driver’s Hours & Working Time Directive
• Ability to perform vehicle safety checks and report defects
• Strong communication skills and a flexible attitude

HGV Class 1 Driver Role

Location:Peterborough , PE7 3AG

Role: Trunking , Fridge trailers, on going work

Pay Rate:Up to £21.29 Per Hour

Job Type:Full-Time / Temp-to-Perm for the Right Candidate, Various shift patterns available

Shifts:Days (Start between 0300 - 0600) & Nights (Start between 1700 - 2100) available

What You’ll Be Doing:

CTRG Limited are looking for experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to support general haulage and fridge work operations inPeterborough.

You’ll be trunking chilled and frozen goods using fridge trailers across various shift patterns.

This is ahands-on rolethat involveshandballing,manually unloading goods at delivery points.

You’ll need to be comfortable with physical work and committed to delivering excellent service.
