Job summary

Kenect Recruitment in the Northampton area is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for day and night shifts on ongoing assignments. You will undertake trunk runs and curtain sider deliveries across the region, with regular weekly pay and the potential for temp-to-perm placements.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence with Cat CE, CPC and tacho card, and have at least one year of Class 1 experience. No more than 6 points on the licence; hi-viS and safety boots are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license with Cat CE.
• Minimum of 1 year Class 1 experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence - no DD/DR or IN endorsements due to insurance purposes.
• A valid CPC and tacho card.
• Hi vis and safety boots.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries in curtain sider trailers and trunk runs.
• Occasionally tipping trailer with an electric pump truck.
• Weekly pay with shifts across days and nights.

HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER (MINORTHHAMPTON) Northampton, England

Salary: GBP18 - GBP19 per hour

Kenect are hiring HGV Class 1 Days & Nights Drivers for our client based in the Northampton area, for Ongoing work, with the potential for temp to perm placements for the right candidates.

As an HGV Class 1 driver, you’ll be completing, trunk runs, general haulage, completing deliveries in curtain sider trailers. On rare occasions you may be required to tip your trailer, but an electric pump truck is provided, with most of the trailers being tipped via FLT.

Limited drivers welcome for enhanced pay rates.

The role:

• Day shifts starting from 05:00 to 08:00
• Night shifts starting from 17:00 – 20:00
• Runs available between Monday and Sunday
• Paid weekly at £18.00 to £19.00ph.
• Minimum of 8hrs paid per shift – 5 to 6 shifts per week

Requirements:

• Full UK driving license with Cat CE
• Minimum of 1 year Class 1 experience
