The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Nottingham area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am start

Location: Nottingham, NG6

Job Type: Ongoing

The role includes:

• Collecting parcels from well-known customers, including full trailer collections, drop and swap operations, with approximately 4/5 collections and deliveries.
• Handling occasional push roller cages as needed, assisting sites with movement when required.
• Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision, including shunting duties when required.
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with company standards.
• Adhering to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain safety on the road.
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Requirements include:

• At least 12 months of experience!
• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
• Valid and current DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on the licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
