Qualifications

• Permis de conduire britannique avec entitlement de classe 1 (CAT C+E).
• Expérience prouvée en conduite de véhicule pertinent.
• Carte DCPC et Tachygraphe numérique valides.

Responsibilities

• Charger et décharger le véhicule.
• Effectuer 7-9 arrêts par jour pour des collectes.

Job description

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Sheffield area. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team on days.

Hours: 4 shifts per week (usually Monday to Thursday but can be flexible to suit), 08:00-09:00 starts (average of 10-hour shifts).

Pay Rate: £15.28 per hour PAYE.

Location: Sheffield, S35.

Job Type: Long term ongoing role with permanent contract available for the right candidates.

The role:

• Physically demanding role - you'll be responsible for loading and unloading your own vehicle.
• Equipment provided: tail lift and pump truck.
• 7-9 stops per day on average, focusing mainly on collections from commercial customers.
• All local runs, staying within a 30-mile radius of the depot.
• You'll use your phone to download the company’s app for managing collections.
• No assessment required! Simply attend an informal chat with the client, followed by a short induction on your start date.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
• Have proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Be accustomed to a manually intensive role as this role can be quite demanding.
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
