Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd are seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for their client in Southampton. Immediate starts with Ad-hoc or shift work options and an average 8-hour day. Opportunity for overtime, weekly pay, and ongoing temp-to-perm opportunities with state-of-the-art vehicles.

Role involves driving nationwide to depots, with loading/unloading as required. Must hold HGV Class 1, CPC, Digi, and HIAB licences; no major endorsements and up to 6 points. Contact team for more info.

Qualifications

• All up to date driving licence, CPC and Digi along with HIAB licence.
• No IN, DD, DR endorsements on licence.
• Hi vis and safety boots.
• 6 months to 1 year experience (preferred).
• No more than 6 points (no majors).

Responsibilities

• Drive the HGV Class 1 vehicle across the country to depots across the UK.
• Load and unload when needed (handball possible).
• Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift.
• Report any defects or problems promptly.

KPI Recruiting are looking for a HGV Class 1 Driver for our client based in Southampton. Our client is a leading provider in the delivery industry within the UK, with state-of-the-art vehicles and services provided! Our client is looking to add to their pool of HGV Class 1 Drivers as they continue to grow and expand their team.

Job description:

• ADHOC or Shift work available
• Limited experience or newly qualified drivers will be considered
• Morning, Afternoon or Night Shift
• £19.00 per hour
• Ongoing and temp to perm opportunities
• Average of an 8 hour day
• Year-round positions
• Opportunity for overtime
• Drivers’ benefits include - weekly pay, additional shifts within KPI driving contacts available, use of state-of-the-art vehicles.
• Load Security
• Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of shift
• Defect/ Problem reporting

Your role will include driving the HGV Class 1 vehicle across the country, delivering to different Depots across the UK. you will be required to load and unload when needed so handball can be involved.

Rates (PAYE) –

• £19.00 per hour days

The ideal candidate for a Class 1 Driver will need the following:
