Job summary

Culina Transport is recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers for the Northampton Morrisons RDC to support general haulage operations. You will perform multi-drop deliveries, complete vehicle checks, and adhere to hours and tachograph rules while delivering exceptional service.

We offer permanent full-time roles with flexible shift patterns (days and nights, some weekends) and pay ranging by shift, with benefits as listed, across a nationwide transport network.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (New Pass drivers considered).
• No more than 6 points and no DD/DR convictions.
• Hold a current valid DCPC and Tachograph cards.
• Understand and comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Carry out necessary vehicle checks and report defects correctly; comply with on-site safety.

Responsibilities

• General Haulage with Curtainside trailers to Distribution Centres and Stores.
• Well planned multi-drop deliveries.
• Completing all necessary vehicle checks and documentation.
• Maintaining high levels of safety, compliance, and professionalism.
• Working closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to Driver’s hours, WTD, and tachograph legislation.

Job Description

We are recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join us at Morrisons RDC in Northampton to support our General Haulage Operations. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards.

The roles are full time, working on a permanent basis and have a variety of shift patterns available working any from 5 from 7 across Days and Nights, some shift patterns will include weekend working.

• Days - start times between 00:00-04:00
• Nights- Start times between 15:00- 23:00

Pay Rates:

• Mon - Fri Day Shift - £15.15 per hour
• Mon-Fri Night Shift - £16.35 per hour
• Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £18.15 per hour
• Saturday and Sunday Night Shift - £18.65
• Bank Holidays - £18.96 per hour.

Driver Responsibilities:
