Job summary

Saffron Vantage Ltd. is seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 Driver for immediate starts in Minworth/Leicester area. The role involves curtain sider deliveries to supermarkets with early shifts, 8 hours guaranteed and typically 10–12 hours per day.

Applicants should have CPC, valid license and Digi card, with at least 12 months driving experience; English skills required. PAYE/Umbrella PAYE options and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Driver with at least 12 months driving experience, however less experienced drivers are also accepted
• No more than 6* points on your license* (not essential)
• A valid CPC, Driver’s License, and Digi Card are required
• Basic English language skills, both spoken and written
• Understanding of driver’s hours and regulations when working as a HGV Class 1 Driver

Responsibilities

• Drive curtain sider lorry and complete store deliveries to supermarkets, usually 2 deliveries and 1 collection
• Operate forklift off or tail lift/pump truck as needed
• Work 10–12 hour shifts with start times typically between 03:00 and 05:00
• Adhere to hours and regulations for HGV operations; weekends optional

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team in the Leicester area. Whether you're an experienced driver or newly qualified, we have opportunities for you!

The Role

• As a HGV Class 1 Driver, your main responsibility will be driving a curtain lorry, doing store deliveries to supermarkets usually 2 deliveries and 1 collection. Either forklifted off or delivered using a tail lift/pump truck. 10-12 hour shifts on average with start times ranging from 03:00 to 05:00.
• Immediate starts available for early AM start times
• Store deliveries - Usually 2 deliveries and 1 collection.
• Guaranteed 8 hours of pay, usually 10-12 hour shifts
• Monday to Friday (Weekends optional)
• Pay rates from £20.00 - £23.71 (PAYE / Umbrella PAYE contract)
• Immediate starts available for early Morning shifts
• ADHOC shifts also available for part time drivers

What We’re Looking For

• HGV Class 1 Driver with at least 12 months driving experience, however less experienced drivers are also accepted
