Job summary

Saffron Vantage Ltd. in Oakham is seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 Driver for immediate starts. The role involves multi-drop pallet deliveries to LE and PE postcodes with 6–9 drops per day, typically 10–12 hour shifts, and start times between 04:00 and 07:00.

Roles offer AM starts, flexible shift patterns, and weekly pay. PAYE/Umbrella options with competitive rates (£19.00–£23.45 per hour) are available. Weekdays only, with weekends optional for part-time drivers.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 driving experience or newly qualified accepted.
• Valid CPC, Digi Card and UK driving licence are required.
• Basic English proficiency, spoken and written, is necessary.
• Understanding of driver hours and regulations for HGV work.

Responsibilities

• Drive curtain side lorry delivering pallets to LE/PE postcodes, 6–9 drops per day.
• Operate either forklift offload or tail lift as required.
• Work 10–12 hour shifts with 04:00–07:00 starts.

HGV Class 1 Driver – Immediate Starts – Oakham

AM Shifts | Competitive Pay | Weekly Pay

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team in the Oakham area. Whether you're an experienced driver or newly qualified, we have opportunities for you!

The Role:

As a HGV Class 1 Driver, your main responsibility will be driving a curtain lorry, delivering pallets around LE & PE post code areas between 6-9 drops per day, Either forklifted off or delivered using a tail lift. 10-12 hour shifts on average with start times ranging from 04:00 to 07:00.

• Immediate starts available for AM start times
• Multi Drop deliveries, 1-2 runs per day delivering to LE & PE post codes
• Guaranteed 8 hours of pay, usually 10-12 hour shifts
• Monday to Friday (Weekends Optional)
• Pay rates from £19.00 - £23.45 (PAYE / Umbrella PAYE contract)
• Immediate starts available for Morning shifts
• ADHOC shifts also available for part time drivers

What We’re Looking For:

• HGV Class 1 Driver with 6 months driving experience, however newly passed drivers are also accepted
• No more than 6* points on your license* (not essential)
• A valid CPC, Driver’s License, and Digi Card are required
• Basic English language skills, both spoken and written
• Understanding of driver’s hours and regulations when working as a HGV Class 1 Driver
