Job summary

XPO TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS UK LIMITED is hiring Class 1 drivers for a Monday to Friday role in Ketton. The position offers 45 hours per week with an hourly rate of £15.89. Overtime applies on Saturdays and Sundays at higher rates, and a £500 joining bonus is paid after 12 weeks of probation.

Responsibilities include safely operating HGV Class 1 vehicles, curtain-sider deliveries, and occasional manual tasks. Nights out may be required; loads are handled by site staff or customers, with Epod

Qualifications

• Hold a valid LGV C+E licence with CPC and DIGI card.
• No more than 6 points on licence; no DD/DR/IN endorsements.

How would you like a Class 1 driving job working a standard Monday to Friday shift? How about working with a modern fleet, all whilst learning new skills? Well, this is possibly the job for you! We are currently recruiting Class 1 drivers to join our team in Ketton.

You will be working Monday to Friday, 45 hours a week.

We are offering an hourly rate of £15.89 per hour. Over time is payable at £21.36 for Saturdays and Sundays at £24.65.

You will get a joining bonus of £500 on the completion of a successful 12-week probation period.

What youll do on a typical day:

• You will be safely driving our HGV Class 1 Vehicles in a courteous manner
• Undertake curtain sided trailer deliveries on behalf of the XPO
• Some manual work may be required
• The role may include nights out each week
• All loads will be loaded/unloaded by the operating site/customers.
• All deliveries will be tracked and signed for using Epod technology

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Valid LGV C+E Licence
• An up-to-date CPC and DIGI card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements showing on your licence
