Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for a Welwyn Garden City client on a long‑term basis with fixed AM and PM shifts. Trunking experience is an advantage but not essential. PAYE & RUP (holiday pay included) rates apply.

Shifts start at 0600–1000 and 1600–2000, offering 10–12 hour days. Benefits include regular work, job security, minimum 8 hours per shift and a pension scheme. Applicants should hold an HGV 1 license with up to six points and have knowledge of drivers hours and Working

HGV Class 1 | Welwyn Garden City

HG recruiting HGV 1 Drivers to work with our client based in Welwyn Garden City on a long term basis with fixed shift patterns with AM & PM vacancies. Previous experience of trunking is an advantage but not essential.

PAYE & RUP (inclusive to holiday pay) Pay rates available

PAYE from £18.00-£22.18ph

Shift start times available

• 0600-1000 start AM 10-12 hour shifts
• 1600-2000 Start PM 10-12 hour shifts

Requirements

• HGV 1 license - Minimum with 6 months experience.
• HGV 1 licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
• Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
• A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working time directive
• Excellent geographical knowledge
• Customer focused attitude.
