Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of a leading national logistics provider based in Gloucester. The role is full-time, temporary with genuine temp-to-perm opportunities. Daytime shifts start around 09:00, delivering larger and specialist products in a two-person crew, with occasional Class 2 duties. PAYE rates include holiday pay and are paid weekly.

Qualifications

Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.
Valid CPC Qualification Card.
Digital Tachograph Card.
Maximum of 9 points for minor endorsements.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
Professional and safety-conscious approach.
Ability to work Monday to Friday on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

Delivering larger and specialist products as part of a 2-person delivery team.
Assist with positioning and installation of products where required.
Maintain high standards of customer service during deliveries.
Complete vehicle checks and delivery documentation.
Occasionally operate Class 2 rigid vehicles as required.

This is ongoing work with genuine temp-to-perm opportunities available for the right candidates.
