Job summary

Adapt Logistics is seeking professional HGV Class 1 drivers for day shifts in Oldham. You will deliver and collect palletised goods using a curtainsider trailer across varied routes for well-known retailers. Typical shifts are about 10 hours, with PAYE rates offered on a day-work basis.

Eligible candidates hold a C&E licence (6+ months), a valid DCPC, and have up-to-date knowledge of EU driver hours and WTR rules, with no more than six points on their licence.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid C&E driving licence with a minimum of 6 months in C&E work.
• DCPC valid card for professional competence.
• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules.
• Health and safety awareness.
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence.

Job description

HGV Class 1 Drivers NEEDED DAYS OLDHAM

Our client is looking for professional HGV class 1 drivers to deliver and collect goods using a curtainsider trailer. Moving palletised goods, they work with many well-known retailers and brands that you will be familiar with. This job can offer a variety to each day with different routes, type of deliveries. Approx 10 hour shifts

Day Work available

£17.00phr or £19.05phr inc holiday.

Here is what the clients' criteria is to work here:

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence (with a min of 6 months in C&E work)
• No more than 6 minor points on Driving licence
• DCPC Valid card for Driver Certificate of professional competence card
• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules
• Health & Safety awareness

Our HGV Class 1 drivers can expect Hourly PAYE rates and have the option to accrue holiday pay within their hourly rate or build a holiday pot to be paid when they are on holiday.
