Job summary

Adapt Logistics is seeking professional drivers in Newton-le-Willows to deliver and collect goods using curtainsider trailers. Roles include moving palletised goods and occasional PPT operation, with day and night shifts offering variety across routes for major retailers.

We offer hourly PAYE rates and optional holiday pay accrual within the hourly rate. Expect shifts around 10 hours, with day slots starting 06:00 and night shifts starting 20:00.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid C&E driving licence with a minimum of 6 months in C&E work.
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence.
• DCPC valid card (Driver CPC).
• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules.
• Enjoy working with people at the stores.
• Health & Safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect goods using a curtainsider trailer.
• Move palletised goods and operate a PPT where required.
• Work across varied routes with different deliveries.
• Adhere to Driver hours and Working Time Regulations.

Day is general work / Night is trunking to DC / RDC's

Our client is looking for professional drivers to deliver and collect goods using a curtainsider trailer. Moving palletised goods (will need to operate a PPT). They work with many well-known retailers and brands that you will be familiar with. This job can offer a variety to each day with different routes, type of deliveries. Approx 10 hour shifts

Day & Night Work available

£16.50 or £18.49 inc hol pay M-F Days

£18.50 or £20.73 inc hol pay Sat

£20.00 or £22.41 inc hol pay Sun / BHol

Here is what the clients’ criteria is to work here:-

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence (with a min of 6 months in C&E work)

Our drivers can expect Hourly PAYE rates and have the option to accrue holiday pay within their hourly rate or build a holiday pot to be paid when they are on holiday.
