Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 drivers for shifts in Wigan. Competitive pay with weekly wages and regular ongoing shifts are on offer through our established client.

Roles involve Days Store Deliveries or Nights Trunking with 1–3 drops per shift, start times around 04:00–06:00 or 16:00–18:00, and a minimum of 8 paid hours per shift. Temp-to-perm opportunities and 24/7 support provided.

Qualifications

• UK HGV Class 1 Licence required with CPC and Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 points on licence and minimum 2 years on licence.
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and Working Time rules.
• Reliable and professional approach.

Days

• Monday to Friday - £22.41

Nights

• Monday to Friday - £23.53

Overtime after 45 hours - £39.02 per hour

The role

• Start times between 04:00 to 06:00 / 16:00 to 18:00
• Manual handling required on days / no handball on nights

Requirements

You must have:

• A valid UK HGV Class 1 licence
• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Minimum 2 years held on licence
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and Working Time rules
• A reliable and professional approach
