Job summary

Black Point Recruitment Ltd. in London is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team in Walthamstow. You will deliver bakery products to stores across the area, with a strong focus on reliability and safety.

We offer early start times, 40+ hours per week, competitive pay of £21.50 per hour, and ongoing long-term work. Immediate starts available for the right candidates.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Category C+E entitlement.
• Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC / Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years.
• Previous Category C+E driving experience is desirable.
• Food distribution or retail logistics experience is advantageous, but not essential.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Class 1 Driver, you’ll be a key part of the operation, representing the company professionally while delivering well-known bakery products to customers and stores.

Your typical day will include:

• Deliver to a variety of customer stores across different routes. No two days are exactly the same, keeping the role interesting and varied.

  Drive responsibly and professionally while following all company and road safety procedures.

  You’ll be the face of the company on the road, so a professional attitude and friendly approach are essential.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll need:
