Job summary

T W Logistics Ltd is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our transport team. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of materials across the UK, ensuring compliance with transport regulations and company standards. Please note the role is subject to a trial period.

The shift pattern is Days/Nights, Monday to Friday, with 40 hours a week guaranteed. A valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required, with bulk tipper experience highly

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence and CPC required.
• Experience with bulk tipper operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of load security and tipping procedures.
• Good health and safety awareness essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles with tautliner and bulk tipper trailers.
• Carry out daily vehicle and trailer checks, reporting any defects.
• Load, transport, and tip materials safely and efficiently.
• Ensure accurate completion of delivery documentation.
• Adhere to road safety, tachograph, and working time regulations.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with customers and colleagues.
• Follow site-specific safety procedures at delivery and collection points.

• Minimum 1 year of HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred
• Good understanding of load security and tipping procedures.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights if required.
