Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is recruiting for a Class 1 (CE) HGV Day Driver based near Eggborough, East Yorkshire. This role offers multi-drop deliveries, full trailer work, and Monday to Friday day shifts with two start times: 04:00 and 11:00.

Temporary to permanent. Occasional nights out may be required, with a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per day. Training and client assessment will be completed before starting.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Maximum of 9 penalty points (minor offences only).
• No DD, DR, CD, or TT99 endorsements.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience in the UK.
• Successful applicants will complete online registration and induction.

Our client delivers tailored logistics solutions for a major manufacturer supplying drywall products to the construction sector and related retailers across the UK.

Role Overview

• Multi-drop deliveries (typically up to 3 per day) to construction sites and trade stockists
• Full trailer work
• Monday to Friday day shifts
• 2 shifts available : 04.00 starts and 11.00 starts.
• Occasional nights out may be required, agreed in advance
• £16.63 per hour on the 04.00 shift
• £ 17.77 on the 11.00 shift.
• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per day

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph card
