Job summary

Workchain is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a Burntwood-based role with Monday to Friday, 6:00am starts. You will complete deliveries and collections across the UK, ensuring safety, legality, and timely delivery.

You will perform daily vehicle checks, complete paperwork accurately, and maintain a high standard of customer service. Ongoing full-time work with weekly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification card required.
• Digital Tachograph card required.
• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Good understanding of UK driving hours and tachograph regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries and collections across the UK with trunking and RDC work as required.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and comply with driving legislation.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and maintain professional customer service.

HGV Class 1 Driver – Monday to Friday – £17.00 per Hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join a well-established transport and logistics company based in Burntwood. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for ongoing, full-time work with consistent weekday hours and a competitive rate of pay.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am starts
• Day shifts with regular working hours

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections across the UK, ensuring all goods are transported safely, securely and on time. The role may involve trunking, RDC deliveries and general haulage depending on operational requirements.

You will carry out daily vehicle checks, comply with all driving legislation, and complete all delivery paperwork accurately while maintaining a professional standard of customer service.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred
• Good understanding of UK driving hours and tachograph regulations
