Job summary

Workchain in Burntwood is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our growing logistics business. You will perform deliveries and collections across the local area with a focus on safety and customer service.

Shifts run Monday to Friday, starting around 6:00am, with consistent day hours. Competitive pay is £15.50 per hour and weekly pay, with long-term opportunities for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence is required.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card is required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of UK driving hours and tachograph regulations is required.
• Good communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries and collections across local and surrounding areas.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and ensure loads are secure.

HGV Class 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver – Monday to Friday – £15.50 per Hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a well-established transport and logistics company based in Burntwood. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for ongoing, full-time work with consistent weekday hours.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am starts
• Day shifts with regular working hours

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections across the local and surrounding areas, ensuring goods are transported safely, securely and on time. The role may involve multi-drop deliveries and collections, so a professional approach and excellent customer service skills are essential.

You will carry out daily vehicle safety checks, ensure all loads are secure, comply with UK driving regulations and complete all delivery paperwork accurately.
