Job summary

Class 1 Driver

We are recruiting Class 1 Driver for a 24/7 logistics operation offering consistent weekend shifts. Drivers will be doing general haulage work with curtain side vehicles. The HGV1 will be loaded ready to go.

The LGV 1 driver will be required to transport stock from Depos and RDCs, there is no handball with this roll.

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be:

• Operating a HGV 1 truck and trailer
• Completing 2–3 drops / collections on distance routes
• Completing PODs and paperwork accurately
• Conducting daily vehicle checks
• Working within a 24/7 operation with flexible shifts

Hours & Pay

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday - DAYS
• 8 - 12 hour shifts
• £19.00 – £23.00 per hour PAYE
• Weekly pay every Friday
• Ongoing, long-term work

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC & Digi Tacho
• Safety boots & hi-vis
