A transport and logistics business in Leeds is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for temporary day-shift work.

About the company

This Leeds-based transport and logistics business provides road transport and wider logistics services, including UK distribution, storage, contract logistics and international freight. It operates logistics centres in Leeds, Manchester and Lichfield and supports the movement of goods across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.

The role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections safely, legally and efficiently. You will represent the business professionally while carrying out daily driving duties and maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle on day-shift routes
• Completing deliveries and collections on time
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
• Securing loads and following safe loading procedures
