Job summary

Ramage Transport Ltd is seeking an HGV Driver for day shifts to load, deliver and collect palletised goods at customer sites. You will work professionally and safely.

The role requires a Class 1 licence with Driver CPC (min 35 hours) and a valid Digital Tachograph card. You will carry out daily defect checks and follow company procedures.

Ramage Transport have vacancies for HGV Class 1 Day Shift Distance Drivers.

The role of the HGV Driver involves loading, delivering and collecting palletised goods to and from the customer sites in a timely and professional manner whilst driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times.

Applicants applying for the role of HGV Driver should have/be:

• Experience working within an HGV driving role loading, delivering and collecting goods from customers sites
• Class 1 driving licence, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed and valid Digital Tachograph card
• Ensure trailers are loaded in a safe and secure manner
• Complete daily defect sheets for vehicles and trailers
• Follow all company operational procedures
• Comply with the requirements of legislation and operating procedures relating to the use of drivers hours and working time directive.
• An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
