Ramage Transport Ltd is seeking an HGV Class 1 Day Shift Distance Driver to load, deliver and collect palletised goods for customer sites. You will drive responsibly, comply with legal requirements and company procedures, and maintain a high level of customer service.

The role emphasizes safe loading, timely deliveries, and adherence to health & safety guidelines with overtime opportunities and a contributory pension scheme offering long-term security.

Formación

• Experience working within an HGV driving role loading, delivering and collecting goods from customers sites.
• Class 1 driving licence, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed and valid Digital Tachograph card.
• An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Drive in a safe and legal manner, maintaining professional conduct at all times.
• Complete daily defect sheets for vehicles and trailers; report issues promptly.

Ramage Transport have vacancies for HGV Class 1 Day Shift Distance Drivers. The role of the HGV Driver involves loading, delivering and collecting palletised goods to and from the customer sites in a timely and professional manner whilst driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times.

• Experience working within an HGV driving role loading, delivering and collecting goods from customers sites
• Class 1 driving licence, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed and valid Digital Tachograph card
• Ensure trailers are loaded in a safe and secure manner
• Complete daily defect sheets for vehicles and trailers
• Follow all company operational procedures
• Comply with the requirements of legislation and operating time directive.
• An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace
