Job summary

ARC Group in Walsall is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 container drivers for a temporary ongoing role.

You will trunk containers around the UK, delivering and collecting to/from rail freights. Shifts are Monday to Friday daytime with occasional weekend runs on request. RHIDES card would be desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• HGV1 C&E licence with no onerous endorsements.
• Up-to-date CPC and Tachograph.
• Good communication and UK road network knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting containers to/from rail freights around the UK.
• Working Monday to Friday day shifts with weekend runs on request.

Rate of pay: £19.00/£20.00

Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 container driver looking for work in the Walsall area?

NextGear Recruitment are recruiting for our nationwide client firstly running out of their Walsall depot. Experience of container haulage really is essential to ensure all containers are delivered in a safe and compliant manner. You will be delivering and collecting to/from rail freights around the UK. This isnt a tramper position all shifts are Monday to Friday day shifts with weekend runs if you request. A RHIDES card would be desirable but not essential.

For this position, you must have the following:

• HGV1 C&E License with no onerous endorsements
• Upto date CPC and Tacho
• Good communication and UK road network knowledge

This temporary ongoing work.

You must have previous proven experience in container haulage.
