Job summary

ARC Group is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 container driver for shifts based at Castleford. You will be delivering and collecting containers to and from rail freights across the UK. This is a daytime, Monday-to-Friday role with occasional weekend runs on request.

Occasional RHIDES card would be desirable but not essential. Previous container haulage experience and up-to-date CPC/Tacho are required.

Qualifications

• HGV1 C&E License with no onerous endorsements.
• Up-to-date CPC and Tachograph (Tacho).
• Good communication and knowledge of the UK road network.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting to/from rail freights around the UK.
• This is not a tramper role; shifts are Monday to Friday day shifts with weekend runs if requested.

Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 container driver looking for work in the Castleford area?

NextGear Recruitment are recruiting for our nationwide client running out of their Castleford depot. Experience of container haulage really is essential to ensure all containers are delivered in a safe and compliant manner. You will be delivering and collecting to/from rail freights around the UK. This isnt a tramper position all shifts are Monday to Friday day shifts with weekend runs if you request. A RHIDES card would be desirable but not essential.

For this position, you must have the following:

• HGV1 C&E License with no onerous endorsements
• Upto date CPC and Tacho
• Good communication and UK road network knowledge

You must have previous proven experience in container haulage.

This temporary onging work.
