Driver Hire Colchester is currently recruiting Class 1 and Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our team. Roles cover various client sites across the CO postcode area, with shifts from early morning; nights available for some routes. PAYE only, with weekly pay and flexible days to suit commitments.

Trunking, general haulage, curtain siders, flat beds, and refrigerates are among the payloads. PPE provided; must have own transport to site access and to reach multiple client locations.

Qualificações

• Must have Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/DR endorsements.

Responsabilidades

Driver Hire Colchester are currently recruiting for Class 1 and Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our team.

Our clients are based across the CO postcode; Colchester, Sudbury, etc. They require drivers to cover busy periods, sickness and holiday.

This a temporary, adhoc role, part time shifts available initally with potential for full time shifts.

Class 2 LGV shifts pay rate starts at £16.25 p/h weekday, Monday to Friday day work,

Class 1 LGV shifts pay rate starts at £17.37 p/h weekday, Monday to Friday day work,

PAYE only – not umbrella – not LTD

• Variety and flexibility. Opportunities to work for a variety of clients, no two weeks are the same. Choose your availabilty on a weekly bases and pick up work when it suits you.
• Start times vary 04:00 and 07:00 AM.
• Mainly Monday to Friday Day work, however nights are available
• Trunking, General haulage, Curtain siders, Flat bed, Refrigerated trailers, Builders merchants, palletised deliveries ETC
• Local and regional deliveries,
• Completing vehicle checks and ensuring full compliance with tachograph and driving regulations
• Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach

Requirements:

• Must have your own transport to travel to and from work.
• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence or Class 2 (CAT C) licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No More then 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or similar endorsements).
• Must have appropriate PPE, including steel toe cap boots (Hi-Vis provided by Driver Hire).
• Must be able to work with both paper-based and PDA-based delivery systems.
• 2 yrs experience preferred but not essential

*Pay above is inclusive of holiday pay at 12.07%, other options for accruing holiday please ask.
