Job summary

Pertemps Wolverhampton Industrial are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for a temp-to-perm position based in West Bromwich. The role offers £17 per hour for full-time work with 6:00am starts, Monday to Friday, handling local multi-drop deliveries of roughly 5–8 drops per day.

You will work with a Driver’s Mate and no handball is required, performing vehicle checks and ensuring accurate paperwork. The successful candidate must hold a full UK Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence, CPC and Digital

Responsibilities

• Perform local multi-drop deliveries (roughly 5–8 drops per day) to the West Bromwich area.
• Work alongside a Driver’s Mate and complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Conduct vehicle checks and ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time.
• Start times around 6:00am, Monday to Friday, with a temp-to-perm opportunity.
