Premier Placement Services are recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Drivers for a 6-week fixed-term contract in Manchester with guaranteed hours and day shifts.

You will hold a current HGV Class 1 licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph card, and have at least 2 years driving experience. Duties include safe delivery and unloading, vehicle checks, and completing paperwork.

Shifts run starting between 4am and 7am, with 12 hours per day, offering a fixed-term opportunity up to Xmas.

• Requires HGV Class 1 Licence with CPC and Tachograph card.
• At least 2 years driving experience.
• No IN, DD, DR endorsements on licence.
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability and professionalism.

Premier Placement Services are currently recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Drivers for a 6 - week fixed term contract working on behalf of our client in Manchester

Pay & Working Hours

• Pay Rate: £210 per shift plus holiday pay (Equivalent to £236 per shift)
• Shift Pattern: Day Shifts
• Start times: 4am - 7 am
• Guaranteed Hours: 12 Hours per day.
• Contract Length: 6 weeks

Your duties will include:

• Driving an HGV safely and responsibly.
• Completing vehicle safety checks before and after journeys.
• Ensuring compliance with drivers',tachograph regulations and road traffic legislation
• Completing all required paperwork and reporting any vehicle defects
• Maintaining a professional and reliable approach at all times
• Deliver and unload goods with some handball at all times

You will require

• A current HGV class 1 Licence along with a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• At least 2 years driving experience.
• A strong commitment to safety , reliability and professionalism.
