Job summary

Premier Placement Services are recruiting experienced HGV Drivers for a 6-week fixed-term contract on behalf of our client in Rochdale. You will drive an HGV 1, perform safety checks and complete required paperwork.

Shifts run day pattern from 4am to 7am with 12 hours guaranteed per day. Pay £210 per shift plus holiday pay (equiv. £236). Start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Requires HGV class 1 licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• At least 2 years driving experience.
• No IN, DD, DR endorsements on licence.
• Commitment to safety, reliability and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Drive an HGV safely and responsibly.
• Complete vehicle safety checks before and after journeys.
• Complete all required paperwork and report any vehicle defects.
• Deliver and unload goods with some handball at all times.

Premier Placement Services are currently recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Drivers for a 6 - week fixed term contract working on behalf of our client in Rochdale.

Pay & Working Hours

• Pay Rate: £210 per shift plus holiday pay (Equivalent to £236 per shift)
• Shift Pattern: Day Shifts
• Start times: 4am - 7 am
• Guaranteed Hours: 12 Hours per day.
• Contract Length: 6 weeks

Your duties will include:

• Driving an HGV safely and responsibly.
• Completing vehicle safety checks before and after journeys.
• Ensuring compliance with drivers',tachograph regulations and road traffic legislation
• Completing all required paperwork and reporting any vehicle defects
• Maintaining a professional and reliable approach at all times
• Deliver and unload goods with some handball at all times

You will require

• A current HGV class 1 Licence along with a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• At least 2 years driving experience.
• A strong commitment to safety , reliability and professionalism.
• No IN, DD, DR endorsements on licence
