Looking for a driving role that offers consistent weekday work and a reliable routine? We’re currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers in Grantham, offering ongoing work, regular daytime shifts and the opportunity to work with an established operation.

If you enjoy being out on the road, managing your own deliveries and providing a professional service to customers, this could be an excellent opportunity to put your driving experience to good use.

You’ll be responsible for completing deliveries and collections across your allocated routes, ensuring goods are transported safely and arrive within the required timeframes.

The role combines driving with customer-facing responsibilities, giving you the independence to manage your own route while representing the company professionally at each delivery point.

Your responsibilities will include following allocated routes and schedules, carrying out vehicle checks, ensuring goods are transported safely and managing your daily workload efficiently. You’ll also need to communicate clearly with customers and maintain high standards of road safety throughout your shift.

Duration: This is an ongoing temporary position offering consistent weekday hours, with continued work available for reliable drivers.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: The role pays £16.00 per hour PAYE, with regular Monday-to-Friday work and consistent daytime shifts. You’ll also have the opportunity to accrue up to 28 days’ annual leave pro rata, alongside ongoing work and a predictable weekday schedule. Experience & Qualifications

You must hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 licence with Category C+E entitlement, a valid Driver CPC and a Digital Tachograph Card. Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience is essential.

You’ll also need a good knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations, a reliable and professional attitude, and strong communication skills. The ability to work independently, manage your route efficiently and provide good customer service is important.
