Job summary

Intrepid Global group in Grantham is seeking a reliable Ad Hoc Class 2 HGV Driver to support our food and beverage distribution operations. You will perform multi-drop deliveries, typically 6–8 stops per shift, starting around 06:00, mainly Saturdays and Mondays with some weekday shifts available.

Ideal candidates hold a valid Class 2 driving licence (Cat C), CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, with previous multi-drop experience.

• Previous multi-drop experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages to customers (schools, restaurants, hospitals, etc.).

• Provide professional customer service at delivery locations.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, on time and in good order.

The Role

We are recruiting reliable Class 2 HGV Drivers for a food and beverage distribution company based in Grantham.

This role is ideal for drivers looking to pick up an additional sixth shift, particularly on Saturdays or Mondays, with the opportunity to cover occasional shifts during the week.

Duties will include:

• Delivering food and beverages to schools, restaurants, hospitals and other commercial customers.
• Completing multi-drop routes, averaging approximately 6-8 deliveries per shift.
• Loading, unloading and handling deliveries as required.
• Providing professional customer service at delivery locations.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous multi-drop experience preferred.
• Must be physically fit, as the role involves manual handling and delivering goods to customers.
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable working in a customer-facing role.
