QS Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver in Grantham for a permanent role within the general haulage team, delivering across the UK.

Expect Nights out and occasional tramping, and a straightforward curtain-sider unloading with forklift assistance. Regular start around 07:00, Monday to Friday. This is a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence required.
• Full UK CPC certificate required.
• Digital Tacho Card required.

Job Description

HGV Class 1 Driver – Wanted – Grantham

For over six decades, our client has provided high-quality logistics services to many of Britain’s best-known brand names. Based in the Midlands, adjacent to the A1, they are centrally located with easy nationwide access to service all of their clients needs in a cost-effective way. They offer the very best service and facilities – from specialist bulk transport to pallet delivery and warehousing, they can do it all.

They are now looking to recruit HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the dedicated team within the general haulage division. As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivery of goods to customers throughout the UK
Minimal handball involved as drivers will typically be required to open a curtain side trailer and wait to be unloaded by a forklift.
Nights out can also be involved and tramping is also available

Duration: Genuine temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: Pay for this role is £18.00 per hour with nights out being paid at £25.00 per night tax free

Working Hours: Working hours are Monday to Friday with start times being around 0700 each day.
