Job summary

We Are Workforce Ltd in Glasgow/Cambuslang seeks an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for temp-to-perm opportunities. You will conduct refrigerated multi-drop deliveries to retail stores, with up to 15 drops per shift, using tail lifts and cages. Immediate starts after assessment and induction.

Shifts include day or night patterns with competitive hourly pay and overtime options. You must hold a DIGI and CPC card, be reliable, and able to work weekends. A customer-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• In date DIGI card and CPC card required.
• Experience with tanker work preferred.
• Reliable, organised and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on driving role with refrigerated multi-drop deliveries.
• Operate within WTD and EU regulations; ensure on-time, full deliveries.
• Prepare vehicles for delivery and refuel as needed.
• Maintain high levels of customer service on each round.
• Be available to work weekends and varying shifts.

Temp to Perm Full-Time Opportunities Available

About the Role

• Refrigerated multi-drop deliveries to retail stores and shops
• Up to 15 drops per shift
• Use of tail lifts and cages
• Immediate starts available following a successful assessment and induction

Shifts pattern available

• Wednesday to Saturday (start between 00:01-03:00)
• Sunday to Wednesday(start between 00:01-03:00)

Day pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £17.30 (overtime after 47.5hrs £19.46)
• Saturday £19.46
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £25.95

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £19.77 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.92)
• Saturday £21.92
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.41

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

What we are looking for:

• Experience in tanker work preferred.
• In date DIGI and CPC card.
• Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Motivated and open to learn new skills.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.

Your role:

• Hands on role.
• Site operates 24/7, 365 days a year. If your rota falls on bank hols, they must be worked (for e.g. Xmas day).
• Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Refuelling vehicles.
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
