Job summary

We Are Workforce Ltd in Cambuslang, Glasgow area is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers for a 24/7 operation. This temp-to-perm role offers regular shifts, competitive hourly pay, and company benefits. The site runs 24/7 and requires flexible weekend availability with day or night rotations.

Drivers will handle refrigerated multi-drop deliveries, use tail lifts, and maintain high customer service standards. DIGI/CPC cards are essential, with tanker experience preferred.

Qualifications

• DIGI and CPC cards are required.
• Experience with tanker work is preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends and variable hours.

Responsibilities

• Hands on driving role delivering refrigerated multi drops.
• Prepping and refuelling vehicles, ensuring timely orders.
• Maintaining high levels of customer service on every drop.

HGV 1 Driver -Glasgow Cambuslang

Temp to Perm Full-Time Opportunities Available

We are currently looking forHGV Class 1 Driversto join our team in CambuslangThis is an excellent opportunity to secure aTemp to Permrole with competitive pay rates, regular shift patterns, and great company benefits.

About the Role

• Refrigerated multi-drop deliveries to retail stores and shops
• Up to 15 drops per shift
• Use of tail lifts and cages
• Immediate starts available following a successful assessment and induction

Shifts pattern available

• Wednesday to Saturday (start between 00:01-03:00)
• Sunday to Wednesday(start between 00:01-03:00)

Day pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £17.30 (overtime after 47.5hrs £19.46)
• Saturday £19.46
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £25.95

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £19.77 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.92)
• Saturday £21.92
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.41

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

What we are looking for:

• Experience in tanker work preferred.
• In date DIGI and CPC card.
• Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Motivated and open to learn new skills.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.

Your role:

• Hands on role.
• Site operates 24/7, 365 days a year. If your rota falls on bank hols, they must be worked (for e.g. Xmas day).
• Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Refuelling vehicles.
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
