Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking an experienced Class 1 night driver based in Eastleigh for an ongoing role through the agency.

The position offers 10-hour nights, Monday to Friday, with shifts starting at 18:00 and a £45,000 annual salary plus overtime opportunities. You will drive a double decker curtain sider to Burton on Trent for unloading and back, with vehicle checks required before and after each shift.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial driving experience.
• Full UK C+E licence (driving a double decker curtain sider).
• CPC and Digi Card valid and up to date.

Responsibilities

• Drive nightly to Burton on Trent and unload, then return.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Report any issues or delays to the night manager.
• Work Monday to Friday, 10 hours per shift, with overtime potential.

The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf our client for an experienced Class 1 night driver based in Eastleigh.

This role is a full time job doing 12-16 weeks through the agency.

Salary: £45,000 per year

Start Time: 06:00pm

Guaranteed Hours: 10 hours, 5 nights per week

Details of the role

• Working Monday to Friday 06:00pm
• You will drive up to Burton on Trent every night to unload and back
• Drivers must complete vehicle checks before and after each shift
• The vehicle will be a double decker curtain sider
• You must be patient and report any issues or delays to the night manager
• The basic annual salary is £45,000 per annum with opportunities of overtime
• Drivers ideally should have 2 years commercial driving experience
• Full UK C+E Licence
• Valid CPC & Digi Card
• Reliable, professional attitude
