Job summary

Pertemps are working in partnership with DHL C/0Tkmaxx (Ferrybridge) and have an exciting opportunity for HGV Class C+E Earlies/ late morning/Night Drivers covering peak season. Based at Knottingley (Ferrybridge), West Yorkshire, you will transport goods to RDCs across the UK.

Shifts vary: mornings, evenings, and nights with pay rates described for each. A fully paid induction follows a driving assessment, with holiday pay accrual and statutory breaks.

Qualifications

• HGV C+E licence with at least 6 months driving experience.
• Licence with no more than 6 penalty points and no endorsements (DD, DR, IN10).
• OPS35 DHL assessment desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Trunking work to RDCs.
• No handballing or lifting.
• Open back doors and secure loads.
• Complete daily delivery paperwork and log sheets.
• Attend fully paid induction after a successful driving assessment.

Pertemps are working in partnership with DHL C/0Tkmaxx (Ferrybridge) & have an exciting opportunity for HGV Class C+E Earlies/ late morning/Night Drivers Covering peak season,this would be to work out of a National Distribution Centre situated in Knottingley (Ferrybridge), West Yorkshire. This is Working on behalf of our client who specialise in the retail logistics industry and are global leaders in this field. Drivers will transport products to RDC Distribution centres throughout the UK.

Shift Availability

• Driver 1: Friday - Sunday | Start time: 03:00
• Driver 2: Wednesday - Sunday | Start time: 04:00
• Driver 3: Wednesday - Sunday | Start time: 04:30
• Driver 4: Friday - Sunday | Start time: 10:00
• Driver 5: Friday - Sunday | Start time: 11:00
• Driver 6: Wednesday - Sunday | Start time: 20:00
• Driver 7: Tuesday - Saturday | Start time: 20:30
• Driver 8: Friday - Monday | Start time: 21:00
• Driver 9: Tuesday - Saturday | Start time: 21:30
• Driver 10: Saturday - Monday | Start time: 22:00
• Driver 11: Saturday - Monday | Start time: 22:30

In return the HGV C+E Drivers salary

Monday to Friday rates Days- From 4am £18.52ph & £27.78ph

Monday to Friday Nights- From 13:00pm £19.66ph & £29.49ph

Saturday All Hours £23.19ph. Based on a minimum of 8hrs Flat Rates(Peak rate) this will change back to £19.19ph after December.

Sunday All Hours: £23.19ph Based on a minimum of 8hrs Flat Rates

Break Deductions of 45 mins taken after anything worked over 8hrs

All Drivers pay rates are based on PAYE, we do not accept LTD or Umbrella companies.

Holidays

On top of the Hourly rate, you will accrue Holiday pay, which on average is based on 2 days a month on a 40hr week, Holidays are NOT paid in advance to make the rate look higher.

Duties will include

• Trunking work to RDC's
• No Handballing & No Lifting
• Opening back doors
• Can do Attitude.
• A safety-first approach to driving and ensuring loads are safely secured.
• Completing daily delivery paperwork and log sheets.
• Fully paid induction on a successful Driving Assessment

Drivers Skills and experience

• Hold an HGV C+E licence with a minimum of 6 months driving experience.
• A driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and free of endorsements such as DD's, DR's or IN10s.
• Possession of an OPS35 (DHL) assessment is desirable and would be advantageous. BUT not essential.
