Job summary

Driver Hire Ashford and Tonbridge are looking for a HGV2 ADR tank driver to join our client at Cranbrook. This seasonal role runs from late August to March/April 2027 with a 4 on 2 off rota and 1700/1800 starts.

Role includes multidrop deliveries, a high level of customer service, and on-site training. Additional benefits include guaranteed hours, overtime pay, and a per-night bonus, with full PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Class 2 (Cat C) licence with CPC and digital tachograph card.
• ADR Tanks licence.
• No more than 6 points on licence; no DD or DR convictions in the last year.

Responsibilities

• Complete multidrop tanker deliveries to farms and commercial premises.
• 4 on 2 off rota including weekends - 1700/1800 start, 8.5 hour shift.
• Ensure deliveries with a high level of customer service.
• Work in a safe, compliant, and professional manner.

Driver Hire Ashford and Tonbridge are looking for a HGV2 ADR tank driver to join our client at Cranbrook.

Requirements to be a LGV Tank Driver:

• Class 2 (Cat C) licence with CPC and digital tachograph card
• ADR Tanks licence
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year

Responsibilitiesof being a Class 2 ADR Driver:

• Complete multidrop tanker deliveriesto farms and commercialpremises
• 4 on 2 off rota including weekends - 1700/1800 start, 8.5 hour shift
• Ensure deliveries are made to the customer with a high level of customer service as standard
• Work in a safe, compliant, and professional manner in line with the client's operational planning
• Some manual handling will be required when securing pipes etc

Benefits of working as a Tanker Driver:

• 42.5 guaranteed hours per week
• £18.85 per hour - £28.28 per hour after 42.5 hours
• Plus holiday pay (advanced rates £21.12-31.69)

ADR experience is not required as training is provided so if you have recently obtained your ADR licence this a great opportunity to gain relevant experience.

This role is a seasonal position available from end if August until end March/ beginning April 2027. Driver Hire are able to offer guaranteed hours contracts to ensure you have work in the Summer months and the option to return to this contract next year.

This role may suit candidates living in and around Ashford, Hawkhurst, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Crowborough, Maidstone, Battle and Hastings.
