Job summary

Driver Hire Ashford and Tonbridge is seeking a class 2 ADR tank driver to join our client at Cranbrook for a seasonal role from late August to March/April 2027. The position pays £19.41 per hour, rising to £29.12 after 42.5 hours, with holiday pay and on-site parking.

You will hold a Class 2 licence with CPC and tachograph, ADR Tank licence, and have relevant HGV experience with a clean licence. The role offers guaranteed hours during the summer and potential to return next year.

Responsibilities

• Perform multidrop tanker deliveries to farms and commercial premises.

Driver Hire Ashford and Tonbridge are looking for a HGV2 ADR tank driver to join our client at Cranbrook.

Requirements to be a LGV Tank Driver:

• Class 2 (Cat C) licence with CPC and digital tachograph card
• ADR Tanks licence
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year

Responsibilitiesof being a Class 2 ADR Driver:

• Complete multidrop tanker deliveriesto farms and commercialpremises
• Ensure deliveries are made to the customer with a high level of customer service as standard
• Work in a safe, compliant, and professional manner in line with the client's operational planning
• Some manual handling will be required when securing pipes etc

This role is a seasonal position available from end if August until end March/ beginning April 2027. Driver Hire are able to offer guaranteed hours contracts to ensure you have work in the Summer months and the option to return to this contract next year.
