Driver Hire Ashford & Tonbridge are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver for Cranbrook, Kent. 42.5 hours weekly, 6:00 am starts, Monday to Friday, with potential Saturday work. Temporary to permanent after a successful 12‑week qualifying period. Full training provided for new ADR holders.

Requirements include HGV Class 2, Driver CPC, Tachograph Card, ADR (Packages) licence, and up to 90 days driving in last 12 months. Great on-site parking and ongoing support offered.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and in line with company procedures and transport legislation.

Location: Cranbrook, Kent
Contract: Temporary to Permanent (12‑week qualifying period)
Pay: £18.85–£21.13 per hour; Overtime: £28.28–£31.69 per hour

Overview

Driver Hire Ashford & Tonbridge are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver based in Cranbrook. This is an excellent temporary to permanent opportunity, with the successful candidate joining the client on a permanent contract after a successful 12‑week qualifying period. New ADR licence holders are encouraged to apply – full training will be provided.

Working Hours

• 42.5 hours per week
• 6:00 am starts, Monday to Friday (nights may be possible)
• Some Saturday work required
• Overtime paid after 42.5 hours

Pay & Benefits

What You'll Need

• HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• ADR (Packages) licence
• A minimum of 90 days of HGV driving experience within the last 12 months (insurance requirement)
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DD or DR convictions within the last year
