Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for a Class 2 night driver in Amesbury, Wiltshire. You will deliver food products to high street and retail stores on a 5-on/3-off rota, with shifts starting late evening and paid weekly.

Expect night rates and a premium Sunday rate; you will complete vehicle checks, maintain safety standards, and enjoy training where provided. Full UK Class 2 licence, CPC and Digi Card are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence and valid CPC & Digi Card.
• Reliable, professional attitude with good communication.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills for paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Delivering food products to high street and retail stores.
• Maintain vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Work a 5 on / 3 off rota with weekly pay terms.

The Best Connection is currently recruiting Class 2 drivers for an established food distribution client based in Amesbury.

This is an excellent temp to perm opportunity, giving you the chance to secure a full-time, permanent position with a well-established company.

Must have 3 months previous commercial driving experience on 3.5t and or 7.5t.

Amesbury | PM SHIFTS

Salary - £55,000

Day rate from 06:00am to 18:00pm

Night rate from 18:00pm to 06:00am

Excellent premium rate paid on Sundays

Details of the role:

• Starting between 22:00PM-00:00AM depending on route
• Delivering food products to high street and retail stores
• Ongoing, regular work based on a working 5 on / 3 off rota
• Sunday is paid Double time
• Plenty of overtime
• Vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Weekly pay
• Paying between £17.51 up to £35.03 per hour
