Job summary

The Best Connection in Amesbury is currently recruiting Class 2 (Category C) HGV drivers for an established food distribution client based in Amesbury.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with ongoing work and the potential to secure a permanent position. Benefits include weekly pay, on-site parking and full training.

Afternoon starts often between 12:00 and 15:00, 8–10 deliveries per shift, 5 days on / 3 off rota, overtime available.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous commercial driving experience on 3.5T and/or 7.5T vehicles.
• Reliable and professional attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering food products to high street and retail stores.
• Approximately 8–10 deliveries per shift.

• Vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Vehicle washing and general vehicle care.

Class 2 HGV Drivers Wanted - Amesbury!

The Best Connection is currently recruiting Class 2 (Category C) HGV Drivers for an established food distribution client based in Amesbury.

This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity, offering ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position with a well-established company.

The Role

• Afternoon starts, typically between 12:00pm and 3:00pm, depending on your route
• Delivering food products to high street and retail stores
• Approximately 8-10 deliveries per shift
• Regular, ongoing work on a 5 days on / 3 days off rota
• Overtime available
• Vehicle checks required before and after each shift
• Vehicle washing and general vehicle care
• Weekly pay
• On-site parking
• Full training provided

Pay:

Earn between £14.01 and £35.03 per hour, depending on the hours worked and applicable rates.

• Day rate: 06:00am-18:00pm
• Night rate: 18:00pm-06:00am
• Up to £35.03 per hour available

New Passes Welcome!

Applicants must have previous commercial driving experience on 3.5T and/or 7.5T vehicles.
