Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for Class 2 (Category C) HGV Drivers for an established food distribution client based in Amesbury. This temp-to-perm role offers ongoing work with a potential permanent position, with 5 days on and 3 days off rotas and weekly pay.

Typical shifts run between 12:00pm and 3:00pm start times, with day and night rate variations. Training is provided, and passes are welcome. Prior commercial driving experience on 3.5T/7.5T vehicles is preferred.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence is required.
• Valid Driver CPC is required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Previous commercial driving experience on 3.5T/7.5T vehicles preferred.

This is a fantastic

temp-to-perm opportunity, offering ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position with a well-established company.

The Role

• Afternoon starts, typically between

12:00pm and 3:00pm, depending on your route

• Delivering food products to high street and retail stores
• Approximately
• Regular, ongoing work on a

5 days on / 3 days off rota

• Vehicle checks required before and after each shift
• Vehicle washing and general vehicle care
• Weekly pay
• On-site parking
• Full training provided

Pay:

Earn between

£14.01 and £35.03 per hour, depending on the hours worked and applicable rates.

• Day rate: 06:00am-18:00pm
• Night rate: 18:00pm-06:00am
• Up to £35.03 per hour available

New Passes Welcome!

Recently passed Class 2 drivers are

welcome to apply.

Applicants must have previous commercial driving experience on

3.5T and/or 7.5T vehicles.

What You'll Need:
