Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting an HGV Class 2 Night Driver for ongoing work in Basingstoke. This role is temporary to permanent with Sunday to Thursday night shifts, start times 10:00pm to midnight, and approximately 10-hour shifts.

You will handle palletised deliveries on regular routes, with up to 20 stops per shift. Some routes may go into London, excluding Central London. Immediate start and weekly pay apply, with a potential weekly bonus.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV Class 2 experience preferred but not essential.

Pay: £169.07 per shift + up to £40 night shift allowance + weekly bonus
Average Hours: 50 hours per week

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Night Drivers on behalf of our client based in Basingstoke.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 driver looking for consistent night work, regular routes and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

The Role:

• Sunday to Thursday night shifts

• Approximately 10-hour shifts

• Up to approximately 20 deliveries per shift

Pay & Benefits:

• £169.07 per shift
• Up to £40 per week night shift allowance

Based on 5 shifts per week, the basic shift pay is approximately £845 per week, before the night allowance and any applicable bonus.
