Job summary

The Best Connection Group is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Night Driver for Purfleet. You will deliver to stores outside trading hours, using night access to locked stores, with starts between 17:00 and 20:00 on a rolling rota.

This ongoing role offers regular night shifts and a pathway from temporary to permanent for the right candidate. Requirements include a valid Category C (Class 2) licence with CPC and Tachograph cards, at least 2 years of Class 2 experience, and confidence working

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience driving Class 2 vehicles.
• Valid Category C (Class 2) licence.
• CPC and Tachograph cards held.
• Comfort with night shifts and working independently.

Location: Purfleet

Pay: £19.52 per hour

Type: Ongoing / Temp to Perm

The Role:

• Delivering to stores outside of trading hours
• You'll be entrusted with keys to access and deliver to locked stores during the night
• Start times between 17:00 - 20:00, based on rota
• Regular, stable work on an ongoing rota
• A theory and practical driving assessment must be completed prior to startingRequirements:

• 2 years on a Valid Category C (Class 2) Licence
• Valid CPC and Tacho cards
• Confidence in night driving and working independently
• A professional, reliable attitude with a focus on safety
