Job summary

SUEZ in Doncaster is recruiting a professional HGV driver to operate Stillage Vehicles – Kerbside Loaders and RCV, collecting household waste and recycling from residents. You will deliver a high standard of service while complying with Health and Safety rules.

The role requires an LGV Category C licence and a valid CPC card, a passion for driving, good communication and teamwork to support the local community and customers.

Qualifications

• Must hold LGV Category C licence and CPC card.
• Experience in waste industry desirable but not required.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate Stillage Vehicles – Kerbside Loaders and RCV to collect waste and recycling from Doncaster residents.
• Maintain high levels of service and safety in all interactions with customers.
• Comply with our Health and Safety rules and company policies.

Job description

What will I be doing?
The role will involve the driving and operation of vehicles collecting household waste and recycling from the residents of Doncaster, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.

What are the requirements?

• Applicants must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team delivering a high level of customer service.
• An LGV Category C licence as well as a valid CPC card are essential.
• Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable, however is not essential.
• Experience of working with Stillage Vehicles – Kerbside Loaders and RCV is desirable but not essential as training will be given where necessary.
