Job summary

SUEZ in Rugby is seeking an experienced HGV driver to join our Industrial and Commercial waste collection team. You will drive and operate rear-collection vehicles, delivering a high level of service while complying with our health and safety rules.

You will need a Class 2 license with a CPC card, good communication, and be a team player dedicated to customer service. Training is provided where needed in a friendly, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 license and CPC card are essential.
• Experience in waste industry is desirable.
• Experience with Rear Compaction Vehicles is preferred but training will be provided.

Job description

What will I be doing?

The role will involve the driving and operation of vehicles collecting Industrial and Commercial waste and recycling from our customers, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.

What are the requirements?

You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team, delivering a high level of customer service.

The role also requires:

• An HGV Class 2 license as well as a CPC card are essential.
• Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable though not essential.
• Experience of working with Rear Compaction Vehicles is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
