Job summary

SUEZ is recruiting a professional LGV driver for our UK waste collection team. You will drive Dustcarts/RCVs, collect household waste and recycling from residents, and uphold health and safety standards. A Category C licence with CPC is essential, with experience in waste an advantage.

You’ll work as part of a busy team delivering high quality service. Strong driving skills and clear communication are required, along with a collaborative attitude and a commitment to safety and customer

Job description

What will I be doing?

• The role will involve the driving and operation of vehicles collecting household waste and recycling from the residents of South Gloucestershire, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.

What are the requirements?

• Applicants must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team delivering a high level of customer service.
• An LGV Category C licence as well as a valid CPC card are essential.
• Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable, however is not essential.
• Experience of working with Dustcarts / RCV's is desirable.
