Job summary

Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting Class 2 and 7.5T Drivers for a commercial vehicle rental client based in Southampton. You will deliver and collect vehicles to commercial customers across the South Coast, providing a professional service.

Shift pattern is Monday to Friday with a 07:30 start and an average 10-hour day. Duties include driving Vans and 7.5T/Class 2 vehicles and occasional yard shunting.

Qualifications

• Good communication and organisation skills.
• Full UK Class 2 Driving licence with at least 1 year of experience.
• CPC and Digi Tacho card valid.
• Own transport to commute to work.
• Experience with Pod systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting Vans, 7.5T and Class 2 vehicles.
• Complete vehicle deliveries to commercial customers across the South Coast.
• Shunt vehicles in the yard when required.

Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting Class 2 and 7.5T Drivers on behalf of one of our commercial vehicle rental clients based in Southampton. In this role, you will be responsible for completing vehicle deliveries and collections to commercial customers across the South Coast, providing a professional service.

About this position:

• Monday to Friday AD HOC work
• Start times: 07.30am (10 hour day on average)
• Delivering and collecting Vans, 7.5T, Class 2 vehicles
• Shunting vehicles in the yard when required

Requirements for this position:

• Full UK Class 2 Driving licence, held for a minimum of 1 year
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
• Outstanding communication and organisation skills
• Own transport to commute to and from work
• Good understanding of using Pod systems
